 Sarepta is nestled at the crossroads of Highway 2 and Highway 371 approximately 50 miles northwest of Shreveport, LA, and 12 miles south of the Arkansas state line.  Conveniently located just 25 miles from Interstate 20, you get that small town atmosphere within easy commuting distance of several larger cities. 

Sarepta was named for Sarepta Carter, who donated a large bible to the local Baptist church upon its completion in 1869.  Sarepta was  incorporated in 1955.
